While the Safari extension is in development, Mac users have a great option: install Chrome or Edge on your Mac and use the Video Speeder Chrome extension.
You'll get the full 0.25x–4x speed range, customizable keyboard shortcuts (Ctrl+Shift+Right/Left), an intuitive slider popup with preset buttons, and zero data collection — on YouTube, Netflix, Amazon Prime, and any website.
When the Safari version launches, it will be distributed via the Mac App Store and support both macOS and iOS Safari, with the same features as the Chrome extension.
